You'll find our Mobile Track Truck at Churchill Downs, Trackside or Keeneland.  Our truck is fully stocked with supplements, tack, racing gear, first aid and everything else trainers, exercise riders and jockeys need.  If you'd like us to come to your training facility, please call the store at 502/722-8850.

On the first Friday of each month, Metzger's Country Store offers blade sharpening.  Bring in your dull clipper blades, scissors, grass shears or anything that needs sharpening.  Come between 10:00 and 4:00 and meet Dan the Clipper Man!

Looking for some fresh produce? During the summer months, Metzger's parking lot is home to the Farmer's Market! Besides fresh produce, you can find organic eggs, chicken, beautiful flowers and more. The Farmer's Market  meets from 2:00-6:00 every Thursday.

Metzger's is able to take care of all of your horse laundry* needs.  Bring in your blankets, sheets, saddle pads, towels, dog beds, etc. for some getle deep cleaning. We offer waterproofing, special fragrance and repair work for an additional charge.

During the spring, summer and fall seasons, the Fish Truck arrives at Metzger's Country Store.  If you are looking to stock your pond, we can help.  Call for more information and dates.

Looking for a new pet? We are currently working with Woodstock Animal Foundation, Shelby County Humane Society and Shelby County Animal Shelter, as well as other rescue organizations, to find homes for many litttle friends.  Come on in and look at cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies just waiting for that someone special!
